Pastor Chris Explains “Thou Shalt Not Steal” Was Not Given to Christians to Obey

The BLW President, Rev. (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, during yesterday’s Sunday Service at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, told the congregation that God did not plan for Christians to obey the commandments in the Old Testament. This shocking statement, he further qualified: “the life [God] gave you does not steal; you cannot steal if you live that life.”

In the featured excerpt, Pastor Chris explains the difference between obeying the Word and living by it. Speaking of such actions as stealing, he said, “it’s unnatural with you when you’re born again.” As he taught, the light of God’s Word shone on the people’s hearts, causing them to see that God’s plan all along was to give us His own life, and out of the substance of that life, we live out His righteousness.
