Gathering of Sheaves

Psalms 126:5-6 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Without fail it is going to happen. This is amazing. You know sheaves is a bundle of stock or grain you bind together after they are caught. You bind them together for transportation or storage. But here he is referring to some forms of harvest from your sowing.
You are coming back with your sheaves. In the old testament God’s people were God’s servant. God had to do things for them. They called to God and he will do things for them. In the new testament we are his partners, we work together. We do things together. In the old testament the angels had authority over the people. A simple example is when Zachariah failed to believe the word of angel Gabriel. The angel made him dumb for his unbelief. When the people asked him the name of his son when he was finally born, that is when he received his healing. But in the new testament the angels are our servants. They serve us.
Hebrews 1: 13-14 KJV
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
The angels ministered to them in the old testament but they minister for us in the new testament. That’s why the name of Jesus is so powerful. We give instructions in the name of Jesus.
